Sitting post-yoga with ice on my left ankle, knee & hip flexor.  Ahhhhh.  Mostly preventive to help recovery, partly to address those recurring little owies.  Good news is that it takes longer for the weak links to ache & they recover alot faster these days.  I’ll be spry again by tomorrow am!!
I’ve of course been working on [...]

That is my new favorite motto.   Found the saying in a banner at Portland Power Yoga.  As in, Portland, Maine.  Yes, the trip to Vermont this weekend grew by a few states.
So we went here first:

While in Burlington, I got to take my friend’s class at Yoga Vermont (www.yogavermont.com, but the site is [...]

For those of you who missed the story, Boston was under a “Boil Water” order for the past few days.
Basically, a pipe burst & the water was contaminated.  Folks in Boston & surrounding areas had to avoid using tap water for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes etc.  A run on bottled water ensued.

She wrote in the comments the other day:
“I’m very curious what the NY teacher did to cause you to walk out of her class – if you’re not comfortable answering, that’s okay.
              I’m not critical of [...]

So the big three yoga possibilities on the road, best I can figger out, are as follows:
Choice A: Bring along a DVD/MP3 for motivation/direction/companionship & practice on your own or with a travel buddy or two to that.  Talked about that yesterday.
Choice B:  Practice on your own entirely, with music or without.  I’ll tend to give [...]

Back last night & a wee bit jet-lagged today!  The Oregon coast was gorgeous, though.  No whales, but did see some of these:

And alot of this:

And, if you look carefully, there is an immature bald eagle at the bottom right branches in this tree:

Plus, there was daily yoga while traveling, which made the trip extra good.
Fitting yoga [...]
